Tika’s Visit to Mountainside

Tika is a past emergency patient who survived after experiencing every dog and owner’s worst nightmare when out hiking… She slipped down a cliff!

She was quickly brought to Mountainside for emergency care. She suffered some scrapes and bruises along with a chipped tooth and x-rays revealed a fracture in her forelimb.

Fortunately, it wasn’t worse! She had to wear a splint on her leg and got some medications to provide pain relief and reduce inflammation.
