Insurance

Pet insurance helps cover the cost of medical expenses should your pet become ill or have an accident, allowing you to make decisions based on the medical needs of your pet rather than what is within your financial means.

Some pet insurance companies also offer some routine and wellness coverage, such as vaccinations, spaying/neutering, annual wellness examinations, etc. for an additional fee.

Each pet insurance company has different premiums, deductibles, waiting periods and maximum payouts. Selecting a pet insurance plan is an individual choice based on your pet’s age, breed and lifestyle and your own personal financial situation. We are not affiliated with any of these companies, nor do we profit from signing people up with them, but we feel it is important to be able to provide a safety net to help care for our furry family members when they are most in need.

We recommend researching your pet insurance policy carefully, so you understand all the exclusions and requirements you sign up for. We have listed some examples of pet insurance companies below, as well as their contact information to assist you with finding a policy best suited for your pet. Please note that there are many other companies, and we have only listed the major ones we are aware of.
