20 Jan Patient of the Week – Rufus January 20, 2021
Rufus had a Christmas Eve emergency trip which resulted in a long diagnostic journey, including hospitalization and many tests and imaging.
Incidentally, he also had one of his toes amputated.
It was determined that he had Addison’s disease in which the adrenal glands fail to produce the hormones that help regulate organs and body symptoms.
He is back home with his amazing family and doing well.
