A long time North Vancouver, BC resident, Sharon developed a strong interest in animal health and wellness in her teens while volunteering for the District of North Vancouver’s Animal Shelter. She continued to pursue this interest over the next 15 years, working in a number of local veterinary clinics as a Veterinary Assistant, and as a Kennel Attendant and Clerk at three Lower Mainland animal shelters. After completing her undergraduate in Psychology from Simon Fraser University, while simultaneously continuing to work for local municipal animal shelters, Sharon returned to school to obtain her diploma in Human Resources Management from BCIT. While working in Human Resources for Simon Fraser University, the opportunity presented itself to combine both Sharon’s deep love and passion for the animal industry with her training and experience in Human Resources. On her time off, Sharon can be found hiking the North Shore trails or relaxing with her three cats by the fire.

Our Veterinary Services
Located in North Vancouver, Mountainside Animal Hospital and 24 hour Emergency Services is always open. We will see any emergency, critical care and time-sensitive medical condition. We also accept transfers from our surrounding general practice partners.
