Dr Taylor Whitcombe
Dr. Taylor Whitcombe was born and raised in Perth, Western Australia, where he undertook his veterinary training at Murdoch University; obtaining a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery in 2017. Following graduation, he relocated to Northern Ontario and spent three and a half years working in general practice in Sudbury. During his time in Sudbury, Dr. Whitcombe had a broad spectrum of exposure to a variety of cases from a medicine standpoint through to surgery along with emergency, all within the same hospital.
A relocation to Vancouver in 2021 was an opportunity to continue to expand his work within the emergency field at Mountainside Animal Hospital, along with an opportunity to explore more of Canada and relocate closer to the ocean.
Outside the hospital, Dr. Whitcombe spends his days outdoors as much as possible with his partner and seeing more of beautiful BC, or with his anxious and high maintenance rescue dog Biscotti.

Located in North Vancouver, Mountainside Animal Hospital and Emergency Services is here for you and your pet. We will see any emergency, critical care and time-sensitive medical condition. We also accept transfers from our surrounding general practice partners.
