Dr. Roey Kestelman
After a long career as an advanced life support paramedic, Dr. Roey Kestelman decided to pursue a path that would allow him to help those who can’t speak for themselves. He left Israel to study Veterinary Medicine in Budapest Hungary in 1999. After graduation in 2003 he spent time at several universities in the United States. In 2008 beautiful British Columbia caught his eye and he made the big move to Canada and has been practicing province-wide since then.
Dr. Kestelman has a special interest in emergency and critical care patients, geriatrics, and soft tissue surgeries for dogs and cats. He is known to greet everyone with a warm “Shalom” and speaks English and Hebrew. His personal interests include competitive Brazilian jiujitsu but most of all he loves to spend time with his wife and two children as well as his two furry kids: an adopted one-eyed cat and a pit bull rescue.
