Jamie
Jamie got her start in veterinary medicine as a receptionist and assistant before heading off to Thompson Rivers University, graduating in 2016. While there, she received the Merial Large Animal Award for high proficiency in large animal & equine clinics. She is a registered member of BCVTA and has worked in general practice with dermatology and dental specialists as well as emergency medicine.
She has volunteered for the BCSPCA and spent time in Costa Rica and Nicaragua volunteering her time for spay and neuter clinics. Her interests include emergency medicine, surgery, diagnostics and analgesia and she hopes to obtain a specialty in anesthesia, surgery, or critical care.
In her free time, Jamie loves sports especially rugby, football, baseball and snowboarding. She also likes to fish, read and hike with her main man, Nixon!

To transfer or refer a patient to our emergency and ICU department or for any out-patient procedure, including Ultrasound, please contact us anytime at (604) 973-1247.
Our Veterinary Services
Located in North Vancouver, Mountainside Animal Hospital and 24 hour Emergency Services is always open. We will see any emergency, critical care and time-sensitive medical condition. We also accept transfers from our surrounding general practice partners.
