10 Jun COVID-19 Update June 10, 2020
We have been carefully monitoring the Covid pandemic these past months and continue to follow the lead of the provincial government and the College of Veterinarians British Columbia. As an essential service, we wish to express our profound thanks for the ongoing support and patience demonstrated by our clients.
We are in the process of establishing new protocols and safety measures as dictated by Work Safe B.C. We will be installing plexiglass in our reception area and other measures to ensure proper social distancing is maintained.
We do this for the safety of all members of the public as well as to protect our staff and plan to have this in place after Canada Day. In the meantime, please read the following:
- We will not be resuming vaccinations or routine spays or neuters at this time
- We are now allowing family members to attend euthanasia’s in a specially allocated room within the hospital. We ask that family members follow the protocol we have in place with regards to hand sanitizing, wearing a mask and other personal protective equipment. When scheduling, our receptionists will give you clear instructions on what to expect.
- Our underground carpark is now open every day from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM and we encourage clients to use this as a “waiting room” especially on hot days
Stay tuned for our next update in a couple of weeks and please enjoy a safe and healthy Canada Day!
